Catrice Ultimate Colour Lipstick

Catrice Ultimate Colour Lipstick
I was recently sent some products from Catrice to try out and to say I was excited is a definite understatement. You should know by now that I am a huge fan of the brand and have tried many products already so it was really fun to explore even more. There will be many reviews in the coming weeks but for now, I absolutely have to talk to you about their Ultimate Colour Lipstick.

It comes in a sleek black tube with the Catrice logo only barely visible. It is sturdy and a little weighty – there is definitely nothing cheap or flimsy about it looks-wise. I was really impressed to see the brand name actually engraved into the lipstick which is something usually reserved for more expensive brands. The lid clicks closed securely and there is just absolutely no faulting the packaging, in my eyes. This is something you could whip out and apply anywhere without fear of people instantly recognising that it is by a budget brand.

I was sent one of their new shades and it is a stunning true. You probably know that I love a good red and this is definitely up there amongst my favourites now.

The formula absolutely glides on to the lips and I cannot think of a single other lipstick I own that feels quite as smooth during application. It wears well on the lips with only minor touch ups required after eating and drinking. It reapplied beautifully too with no mucky build up. My favourite thing about the lipstick though is the texture. It just feels so creamy on the lips and keeps them feeling nourished and moisturised throughout the day. With many lipsticks, it can be a case of a long wear time OR hydration but Catrice have managed to somehow combine both in a way that is so gorgeous that it is hard to believe they only cost €4.49 a pop. There are sixteen shades in the range and I will definitely be picking up some more!

What do you think? Have you tried any of the Ultimate Colour Lipsticks? Are you a fan?
