The second last Friday Face of the year! Where has the time gone, eh? To think, I have been doing these posts (almost) weekly since the beginning of June! Today’s look is another that I have been so obsessed with lately. You know I’m a fan of reddy shades on my eyes, well lately, I have been loving these rosy-toned shades with a matching red lip. I have done many variations of this look over the past few weeks and no doubt will continue as I received the Naked 3 palette last night as an early birthday gift!
To begin, I started with my Revlon Colorstay Foundation for Normal/Dry Skin in ‘Ivory’. I am back to the lightest shade and love having an ethereal-y pale complexion (Possibly the only Irish girl to ever say this!) I was also complimented by a random customer on how lovely my foundation is so this clear winner is going no where fast. I applied this with my Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge and then used that to also diffuse my Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer underneath my eyes and anywhere else I needed it. I dusted on some Catrice All Matt Plus Shine Control Powder to set it and filled in my brows with my NYX Eyebrow Cake Powder.
All over my eyelids, I applied my Inglot Eyeshadow in ‘397’, a stunning rose gold type shade. I also brought it into the inner corners to really open the eyes. On the outer-v of the eyes, I placed ‘452’, that gorgeous burgundy I am constantly going on about and am pretty sure I have used in the last few weeks’ posts now. I also buffed that underneath the eye. I used my Naked 2 Palette, taking ‘Foxy’, a matte cream underneath my brow and ‘Tease’, a matte taupe through the crease to blend out any harsh lines. I finished with a slick of my Maybelline Gel Eyeliner, my IsaDora Twist Up Metallic Eye Pen in ‘Deep Black’ on the upper and lower waterlines and lashings of Diego Dalla Palma Mascaragogo.
I contoured my face using my Sleek Face Contour Kit and my Real Techniques Blush Brush and then swept some Catrice Multicolour Blush along the tops of my cheek bones. I completely forgot how stunning that colour is and how much it livens up my face. I finished with my Collection Gothic Glam Lipstick in ’01 Seduction’, a gorgeous vampy red.
What do you think? Are you still rocking the Autumnal berry shades or have you progressed to more festive reds? Are you a fan of the rosy toned eyeshadows that seem to be all the rage?
