My Ultimate Beauty Wishlist – Drugstore

Yesterday’s look was a sneak peek at the letter I sent Santa this year. To clarify, I am not asking for ALL of the items on the list (obviously!), it is just a list of things I would like that Santa can select from. Today is a look at all of the cheaper options that Santa could pick up in Boots. For most of these items, I didn’t request any specific colours as I love the element of surprise!!!

Barry M

First up on the list is some more Barry M Nail Paints. I use to be obsessed with these guys and have quite a few to my name but I haven’t picked any up in AGES, not to mention they have released a fair few new finishes that I would love to try!

I haven’t tried a single lip crayon from any brand, even though I know they are all the rage so I thought a good place to start would be Barry M’s Lip Lacquer Crayons. They seem to have an impressive shade range too.

A few weeks ago, I reviewed the one Barry M Lip Paint I own. I got along brilliantly with it and so would love to try some other colours in the range.

Everybody has been buzzing over these Bourjois Colour Edition 24H Eyeshadows which are seemingly a cream to powder finish. I have heard great things and all of the shades seem really wearable so I would love to give these a go.

Collection

You can never have enough backups of the Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer which is my all time favourite. I currently have two in my possession but I use so much of it that I could do with adding a few more to my stash. Just in case!

I remember reading a review praising Collection’s Cream Puff Lip Creams and it has stuck in my head ever since although I have never gotten a chance to try them out for myself so these are another addition to my list.

Next up is a product I have already tried – the MaxFactor Ageless Elixir 2 in 1 Foundation and Serum. It offers great coverage and my only issue is that the lightest colour is the slightest bit too dark for me but I’m willing to overlook it because it wins on every other count.

Maybelline
Ireland went crazy for the release of the Maybelline Baby Lips over here after they were currently only available in the US and although many of the reviews I read were disappointing, the hype was so huge that I really do want to try them for myself.

Ah, the Maybelline Colour Tattoos – I adore these and already have a few in my collection but a few months back they released some new colours – in particular a stunning pomegranate shade – and I can’t wait to get my hands on them!

It seems there is more buzz in the US over the Maybelline The Eraser Concealer than over here but it has piqued my interest and I really want to try it. I think it is really the name that has me gripped. I love the idea of erasing all of my imperfections!

I also requested any mascara from the Maybelline range. I use to be very loyal to the brand during my teenage years when it came to mascara and I know I was impressed with all of them that I tried so I really want to give them a go again and remember what all the fuss was about.

Real Techniques
Real Techniques are a brand that impress me over and over again, most recently with their Miracle Complexion Sponge so although I own a few of their brushes already, I want to get my hands on a few more.

First up is the Setting Brush which has a small head that looks perfect for pinpoint powdering or even for cheek products as I love the control of a precision brush like this.

The Fine Liner Brush does seem to be very fine indeed which usually makes eyeliner application a doddle. I definitely want to try this one out as I am very finicky about my liner brushes.

The world and its mother have raved about the Expert Face Brush which is why I want to see what all the fuss is about. It doesn’t look too dissimilar to the  Buffing Brush which I have and adore.

Revlon
I am a huge fan of Revlon Lip Butters and already have about five or six in my collection but the range has become so vast that there is definitely room for a few more!

I continuously bore you all to death with my love for the Revlon Colorstay Foundation so it is safe to say that I would like a few back ups of it for when I run out.

As I mentioned earlier, I haven’t tried any of the much-adored lip crayons that have been released as of late but from reviews I have read, the Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stains seem to be a steady favourite and the ones I am lusting over most.

Rimmel

I only own one of the Kate Moss for Rimmel Lasting Finish Matte Lipsticks but it is one of my favourites in my whole collection so I want to add a few more to the lineup.

And while I’m at it, I want to give the normal Kate Moss for Rimmel Lasting Finish Lipsticks line a go too.

You probably know I adore my Rimmel Apocalips which I believe deserved all the hype they got when they were released and I really want to complete my collection with a few more shades.

It took me a while to enjoy using the Rimmel Stay Matte Powder that everyone was waxing lyrical about but once I discovered the knack, it fast became a Holy Grail product for its addition of coverage as well as its mattifying benefits. I haven’t repurchased it but I definitely want it back.

Finally is a fairly recent release from Rimmel – their Scandaleyes Shadow Pencils which the blogosphere went crazy for. I love my NYX Jumbo Eye Pencils so want to see if these guys measure up.

What do you think of my wish list? Any of your favourite products on there? Am I missing anything?
